Flat Fees

These flat fees include mediator preparation, pre-mediation consultation with the parties or their counsel, and a full day (up to 9 hours) of mediation. Additional mediation time, if desired by the parties, will be charged at $275/hour. Travel time, travel expenses (except as noted below*) and incidental expenses are included in these flat fees.
Unless the parties otherwise agree and notify the mediator, counsel for each side (rather than the parties themselves) will be responsible for one-half of the mediation fee. If a party rather than counsel will be responsible for the fee, a deposit may be required in advance of the mediation session.
I participate in FINRA's Reduced Fee and Pro Bono Telephonic Mediation Program, which means that I will mediate cases with claims of $25,000 to $50,000 for $50 per hour and claims of less than $25,000 pro bono. As may be apparent from the program's name, these mediations are held over the phone. *Nonrefundable fares will be booked for air travel. The parties in cancelled or postponed mediations will be billed any cancellation or rebooking fees.
