MEDIATION

Flat Fees

My flat fees include my mediator preparation time, pre-mediation consultations with the parties or their counsel, and a full day (up to 8 hours) of mediation. (Additional mediation time, if desired by the parties, will be charged at $275/hour.) The flat fees also include my incidental expenses, travel time, and travel expenses. (I use nonrefundable fares for air travel. If a mediation session is cancelled or postponed, I will bill cancellation or rebooking fees to the parties.)
I offer reduced fees for claims of $50,000 or less that are mediated in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Please contact me if you wish to mediate such a claim.
I also participate in the FINRA Reduced Fee and Pro Bono Telephonic Mediation Program for claims of $50,000 or less. If you are interested in this program, please click here: goo.gl/hLTYAv
Unless the parties otherwise agree and notify me, counsel (rather than the parties) are responsible for the mediation fee. If a party rather than counsel will be responsible for the fee, I may require a deposit in advance of the mediation session.
