October is FINRA's Mediation Settlement Month and I am once again participating. If you are involved in a FINRA matter, this is a great time to set up a mediation through FINRA and take advantage of significantly reduced mediation rates. To participate, parties must agree to mediate by October 31 and conduct the mediation by December 31.

I am now a qualified FINRA mediator. Mediating through FINRA's program can be advantageous -- you may save a postponement fee.
You may also be interested in FINRA's Telephonic Reduced Fee and Pro Bono Mediation Program. What that mouthful means is that I will mediate cases with claims of $25,000 to $50,000 for $50 per hour and claims of less than $25,000 pro bono. As may be apparent from the program's name, these mediations are held over the phone.
